Multi Skilled Technician

About the role

Mitie is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician to support the Rolls Royce sites in Chichester and Bognor. You will ensure plant, equipment and facilities remain compliant, safe and available through both preventative and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering expertise to investigate and rectify plant and equipment defects.
• Deliver technical support for mechanical engineering maintenance tasks.
• Support safe, day‑to‑day maintenance activities at the Rolls Royce facility.
• Maintain machinery, plant and infrastructure availability via a Preventative Maintenance programme.
• Ensure accurate service and maintenance records, including Maximo and Mijobs modules.
• Assist hands‑on with electrical and mechanical plant breakdowns and faults.

Required profile

• Ideally 5–10 years’ experience in a maintenance or facilities management environment.
• Experience in both preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Proven ability to work within large, complex industrial settings.
