Multi‑Skilled Accident Repair Technician

About the role

As a Vehicle Multi‑Skilled Technician at Motofix, you will restore vehicles to their pre‑accident condition by combining Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET), panel, and paint repairs. You will work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented workshop delivering high‑quality, compliant repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and select the optimal repair method across MET, panel, and paint disciplines.
• Perform structural and panel repairs, including aluminium and electric‑vehicle work.
• Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components as part of the repair process.
• Prepare, prime, and paint panels to achieve a high‑quality finish.
• Mix and colour‑match paints using manufacturer specifications and spectrometer technology.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer guidelines and BSI 10125 standards.
• Collaborate with estimators, workshop controllers, and fellow technicians to optimise processes and minimise rework.
• Follow health‑and‑safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Multi‑Skilled Technician covering MET, panel, and paint work.
• Strong technical knowledge of modern repair methods, materials, and equipment.
• Detail‑oriented with a solid work ethic and commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative workshop setting.
