Multi‑Skilled Electrical Engineer – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing company in Scunthorpe. The role focuses on electrical maintenance within an automated production environment, working Monday to Friday, 2 pm‑10 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment such as pumps, ovens, mixers, conveyors, robotics and packaging machinery.
• Execute planned and preventative maintenance schedules and undertake project‑based work.
• Participate in waste‑reduction and process‑improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Support the maintenance team to minimise production disruption.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship‑level qualification in electrical engineering.
• Experience working with PLCs and automated machinery.
• Familiarity with PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) systems in an FMCG environment.
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines within a fast‑moving production setting.
