National Field Manager

About the role

CPM is looking for a National Field Manager to lead a UK‑wide field team that supports our partnership with CHEP, a global leader in sustainable supply‑chain solutions. You will be responsible for driving performance, coaching staff and ensuring delivery of operational objectives and client KPIs across main towns and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a national team of Service Agents and Brand Ambassadors.
• Deliver coaching and on‑site development through regular observation and feedback.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and retention.
• Execute service visits, audits and field activities to meet operational KPIs.
• Monitor dashboards and reporting data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Present insights and performance updates to internal and client stakeholders.
• Optimise territory coverage, workload distribution and resource allocation across the UK.
• Control travel costs, field budgets and operational expenditure within agreed parameters.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed field teams.
• Strong background in field operations, account management or national sales/service management.
• Experience managing performance through KPIs, coaching and data analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with excellent planning and resource management capabilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis.
