NDT & Training Supervisor – Offshore Assets

About the role
The NDT & Training Supervisor will lead a team of technicians in performing ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic‑particle and visual inspections on offshore assets. The role combines hands‑on non‑destructive testing with the development and delivery of comprehensive training programmes to maintain a high‑skill workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Execute a full range of NDT techniques on components, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and safety standards.
- Perform risk assessments, set up radiography barriers, and verify equipment functionality before each use.
- Produce clear, concise inspection reports that detail methods, results, limitations and any high‑density findings.
- Oversee competency training, examinations and continuous professional development for NDT technicians.
- Deliver training sessions aligned with current certification programmes and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in technical forums to stay updated on innovative NDT technologies.
- Maintain adherence to company health, safety, environmental and quality systems.
Required profile
- PCN Radiography Level 2, PCN Ultrasonic Level 2, PCN Liquid Penetrant Level 2 and PCN Magnetic Particle Level 2 certifications.
- Valid full UK driving licence and passport.
- Good communication skills and IT literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel proficient).
- GCSE/Standard Grade passes in English, Maths and Science.
- Flexible, team‑oriented attitude with strong organisational abilities.
