Network Educator – Part‑time Neonatal Education Role

About the role

The South East Neonatal Operational Delivery Network, in partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a part‑time Network Educator. This fixed‑term position (12 months, 15 hours per week) is home‑based and supports the Qualified in Specialty (QIS) Programme and other neonatal education initiatives across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate neonatal education programmes.
• Support practice learning environments and provide educational guidance to learners and colleagues.
• Collaborate with neonatal units, higher‑education institutions and key stakeholders to improve workforce development.
• Travel throughout the South East region to facilitate network activities and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Experienced neonatal professional with a passion for education.
• Ability to work part‑time alongside an existing clinical nursing role.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the South East footprint.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
