Network Monitoring & Observability Architect

About the role

Join Pontoon as a Network Monitoring & Observability Architect on a 12‑month contract based at Chester Business Park. You will lead the design and implementation of a robust monitoring framework that ensures optimal performance and reliability of our systems and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and shape the overall monitoring and observability strategy.
• Design, implement and maintain monitoring solutions using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Integrate cloud‑based infrastructure monitoring across platforms.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed observability into services.
• Provide clear documentation and guidance for non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Monitoring Architect or in a similar senior monitoring role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex concepts for non‑technical audiences.
