Newly Qualified ACA / ACCA Chartered Accountant

About the role

Accountancy Connections is seeking a newly qualified ACA or ACCA chartered accountant to join its friendly Southampton office. The successful candidate will act as a Client/Portfolio Manager, overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and delivering a blend of accounting, tax and business advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and tax affairs for a range of client accounts.
• Provide strategic business advice and support to clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts and tax returns.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and support firm growth.

Required profile

• Newly qualified ACA or ACCA chartered accountant.
• Experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
