Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor – Scotland (Hybrid)

About the role

This is a newly qualified (NQ) Employment Solicitor position within a respected UK law firm’s Scottish team. You will join a close‑knit group led by a senior Employment Partner and will be involved in substantive client work from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employers and senior executives on Employment Tribunal litigation and discrimination claims.
• Handle TUPE transactions, restructures, restrictive covenants and complex workplace investigations.
• Manage both contentious and advisory matters, taking ownership of your own files as confidence grows.
• Work directly with clients, providing clear legal guidance and developing commercial instincts.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor who qualified in Scotland and has completed an Employment seat or relevant experience during training.
• Strong communication skills, sound legal judgement and genuine enthusiasm for employment law.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and develop under senior mentorship.
