Night Auditor – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

As a Night Auditor at Mercure London Bankside, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel during overnight hours. You will combine front‑desk duties with audit responsibilities, ensuring guests receive a seamless experience while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional service to guests and callers throughout the night.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out processes, including registration, account postings, cashier balancing and express check‑outs.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints, wake‑up calls, mail, messages and special requests promptly.
• Complete daily audit tasks, generate reports and ensure accurate credit handling.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and other departments regarding room status, lost property and guest needs.
• Enforce security procedures, safety standards and hotel policies at all times.
• Participate in team briefings, training and ongoing development programs.
• Ensure effective shift handovers and report any issues to management.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a strong sense of hospitality.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial handling.
