Night Care Assistant – Bank

About the role
This casual, part‑time bank (night‑shift) position at a Barchester care home in Exeter offers flexible working while providing high‑quality support to older residents. You will help residents enjoy each day by assisting with daily living, following care plans, and sharing meaningful moments.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with food, drink and personal care according to individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one companionship and support throughout the night shift.
- Ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for all residents.
- Document observations and report any changes in residents’ condition.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Empathy and a warm‑hearted approach to delivering care.
