Night Care Assistant

About the role

Bupa is looking for enthusiastic Night Care Assistants to join the Richmond Villages Painswick team. You will work three 12‑hour night shifts (20:00‑08:00) providing high‑quality personal, clinical and emotional care to residents in a luxury retirement setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, companionship and daily living activities during night hours.
• Support the senior care assistant or nurse by monitoring residents, reporting changes and following care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families, friends and external healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment throughout the night shift.

Required profile

• Passionate about caring for older adults and promoting independence.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work full‑time night shifts, including occasional weekends.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
