Night Concierge

About the role

The Night Concierge ensures a smooth transition from day to night community operations, contributing to an exceptional 24/7 resident experience, outstanding customer service and the highest standards of safety and cleanliness within the community. The position is full-time in Croydon.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reception, administration and customer service, including key management and handling lock-outs.
• Ensure company policies such as guest procedures and out-of-hours check-in and check-out are followed.
• Respond to booking enquiries and make sure handovers enable next-day follow-up so the community stays fully occupied.
• Support social events and activities, helping retain residents.
• Communicate between day and night teams and resolve customer complaints and disputes, escalating where necessary.
• Manage common amenity areas, including minor cleaning, litter picking and spill management.
• Report and investigate basic maintenance issues: lock and key problems, heating and radiator faults, power supply issues, and fixing leaks by isolating the water supply.
• Attend safety and basic maintenance calls, and respond to incidents with the appropriate level of emergency service involvement.
• Log room and communal area inspections, maintain the incident log and inform the Community Manager of trends and repeat behaviour.
• Maintain good relationships with neighbours, local authorities, police community officers and fire and rescue, and comply with health and safety, data protection and compliance requirements.
• Be flexible and willing to carry out all reasonable duties requested.
