Night Laundry Attendant (0‑hour Casual)

About the role

The Savoy Hotel is seeking a Night Laundry Attendant on a 0‑hour casual basis. You will join the Housekeeping Laundry team, ensuring the linen room is ready for the day shift and that guest laundry is handled with care throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the linen room for the morning shift, including moving trolleys and organising stock.
• Separate food‑and‑beverage linen, internal and external wash loads, and dry‑clean items.
• Collect and process guest laundry, providing express services when required.
• Return uniforms to colleagues and keep accurate linen and uniform records.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment at all times.
• Ensure laundry machines are set up and ready for the day shift.
• Support any additional duties assigned by Housekeeping leadership.

Required profile

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Physical capability to kneel, lift, carry, push, pull, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working under pressure and at a fast pace.
• Willingness to adapt to changes and solve problems as they arise.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of laundry processes and equipment operation.
