Night Manager – Construction Site (East London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Night Manager to oversee a steelwork subcontractor on a high‑profile project adjacent to a London Underground station. The role starts immediately, runs overnight from 12:00 am to 5:00 am, and is expected to last at least six weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the subcontractor’s activities and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily with the main contractor, developers and other site parties.
• Monitor progress against tight deadlines and manage any arising issues.
• Maintain accurate site records and produce regular reports.
• Ensure all personnel have the required certifications and site access cards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing similar construction packages for a main contractor, developer or subcontractor.
• Up‑to‑date CSCS card.
• Valid SMSTS certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Valid Sentinel card for work near the Underground.
• Two professional references from recent projects.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
