Night Shift Assembly Operative – Rainham

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assembly Operative to join our busy night shift team in Rainham. Working the 7pm‑7am shift, you will help build high‑quality products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble components following clear instructions and quality standards.
• Build, test and pack finished products.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets.
• Report any issues and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
• Basic computer skills.
• Team player comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organised with good time‑management skills.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
