Night Warehouse Supervisor – 4 nights on/4 nights off

About the role

Freightserve is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to manage the night‑time operations of its Slough warehouse. Working a 4‑nights‑on/4‑nights‑off pattern from 7 pm to 7 am, you will ensure smooth hand‑over to the day shift while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between night‑shift staff, drivers and the operations team.
• Supervise loading and unloading of Freightserve’s own fleet of trucks and trailers.
• Oversee the warehouse team, including direct involvement in warehouse tasks.
• Build and break down aircraft pallets as required.
• Cross‑check all paperwork against cargo to verify accuracy.
• Prepare a detailed hand‑over email for the incoming shift and report to management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in warehousing and transport environments.
• Proven operation of material handling equipment, especially forklift trucks up to 10 tonnes.
• Commitment to health & safety policies.
• Strong leadership and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast‑paced setting and meet deadlines.
