Nights Area Service Manager (Lift Engineering)

About the role

KONE is looking for an Area Service Manager (ASM) Nights to join its Pan TFL team, supporting the night shift management of Lift Engineers within London Underground operations. The role covers night shifts from 21:00 to 05:30, Sunday to Thursday, and is hybrid, involving office work including some home working and regular nightly site visits to support maintenance, quality and safety. It suits someone who enjoys leading people and keeping operations running smoothly in a busy, safety-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Lift Engineers on night operations within the London Underground business
• Coordinate day-to-day engineering activities and workload
• Support engineer performance, development and wellbeing
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and on time
• Monitor operational performance and respond to issues
• Work closely with customers and internal teams
• Support planning, resources and priorities across the operation
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example

Required profile

• Proven experience managing or supervising engineering or technical teams
• Experience in the lift industry is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
