Not for Profit Senior Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead and develop a dynamic tax team serving not‑for‑profit organisations. Based in Gatwick, you will provide corporate tax advisory and compliance services to charities, housing associations, education providers and public sector bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the tax team.
• Provide expert tax advice to a diverse client portfolio.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
• Deliver training and support to team members.
• Oversee and manage tax audits.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation.

Required profile

• Proactive, able to manage own tasks while collaborating with directors and partners.
• In‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation and ability to handle complex tax issues.
• Experience managing a client portfolio, including onboarding, billing, recoveries and cash collection.
• Understanding of risk and quality‑control procedures.
• Proven track record leading complex projects.
• Experience with not‑for‑profit organisations is advantageous.
