NQ Employment Solicitor – Luton

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Newly Qualified (NQ) Employment Solicitor to join a Legal 500‑ranked firm in Luton. You will work within a collaborative team, handling both contentious and non‑contentious matters while receiving structured mentoring and early client exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business and individual clients on a wide range of employment issues.
• Assist with Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution.
• Draft legal documents such as witness statements, pleadings and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide commercially‑focused advice.
• Manage your own caseload, increasing autonomy as you develop.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development and networking initiatives within the team.

Required profile

• Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly) with a seat in Employment Law or relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and drafting abilities.
• Commercially aware, proactive and solutions‑focused.
• Ambitious and eager to develop within a respected Employment team.

Required skills
