Nurse Functional Assessor – Healthcare Practitioner

About the role

Do good. Be great as a nurse. As a Nurse Functional Assessor you will use your clinical expertise to assess how a person’s disability or health condition impacts their daily life. You will work with complex physical and mental health cases, including chronic pain disorders, helping customers move forward.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the effect of disabilities or health conditions on daily activities.
• Manage complex cases involving physical, mental health and chronic pain.
• Produce detailed reports documenting assessments.
• Provide compassionate support to customers throughout the assessment process.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in adult or mental health nursing.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer software for report writing.
