Nursery Assistant – West Leeds

About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established nursery in West Leeds to find enthusiastic Nursery Assistants on a short‑term, supply basis. You will join a supportive team to deliver high‑quality care and early learning experiences for young children in a safe, stimulating environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the classroom and learning materials for each session.
- Plan and deliver activities that promote physical, emotional and intellectual development.
- Assist children with daily routines such as dressing, feeding and toileting.
- Maintain a safe, clean and engaging environment.
- Observe, record and report on each child's progress.
Required profile
- Patient, caring and able to build strong relationships with children, staff and parents.
- Team‑oriented, flexible and approachable.
- Understanding of safeguarding policies in a nursery setting.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Good communication skills.
Required skills
- Enhanced DBS check (must be available).
