Nursery Deputy Manager – Early Years Leader

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Deputy Manager to join a thriving early years setting in West London. You will support the Nursery Manager in leading a dedicated team, ensuring high‑quality care and learning experiences for children.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, develop and motivate the nursery staff.
• Plan and deliver a wide range of educational activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Showcase the nursery to prospective parents and build strong relationships with families.
• Uphold the ‘Learning through Play’ ethos and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operations and contribute to the growth of the nursery.

Required profile

• NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, energetic and passionate about early years education.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS standards.
• Experience planning and organising educational activities.
