Nursery Nurse

About the role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a high‑quality early years setting near Enderby Wharf. You will provide high‑quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years, supporting their learning through play‑based experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Design and facilitate engaging, play‑based learning activities.
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating environment where each child can thrive.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Support planning, observations and individual learning journeys.
- Promote safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with the dedicated nursery team.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and delivering outstanding childcare.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
