Nursery Nurse – Level 3 Practitioner in Horsham

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, child‑focused nursery in Horsham. You will work alongside an experienced Nursery Manager, helping to create a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS Framework.
• Support each child’s individual learning journey and celebrate milestones.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Complete observations, assessments and developmental records.
• Promote wellbeing, safeguarding and emotional development.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and organisation throughout the nursery.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in an Ofsted‑registered nursery.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to record observations and assessments.
