Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) – Flexible Supply Roles

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to provide flexible, supply‑based support across a range of nurseries in Bristol. The role can be taken on an ad‑hoc, short‑term, long‑term or temp‑to‑perm basis, allowing you to match work with your personal schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and education to children in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and facilitate age‑appropriate activities that promote learning, play and wellbeing.
• Maintain safe, clean and stimulating environments within the nursery setting.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure consistent standards of care.
• Complete necessary documentation and record‑keeping for each shift.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS if needed.

Required skills

• Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures (training can be provided).
