Student Information Officer (Temporary, DBS Checked)

About the role
This temporary position supports a well‑established educational organisation by managing student information processes. The role is full‑time or part‑time for 4‑6 weeks and requires a DBS check.
Key responsibilities
- Administer induction and enrolment for all students.
- Receive, record and verify eligibility documents.
- Manage student intermission, transfer and withdrawal procedures.
- Maintain the student attendance system, ensuring accurate records of attendance, absences and class swaps.
- Provide administrative support to Learning Support tutors.
- Order and replenish stationery supplies as needed.
- Assist students seeking accommodation and keep related files up to date.
- Process overtime payments for teaching staff, invigilators and visiting lecturers on a monthly basis.
Required profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer‑service background.
- DBS clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
