About the role
Staffing Connect is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join a local nursery as unqualified Nursery Practitioners. The role involves supporting the daily care and early learning of young children in a vibrant, hands‑on environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist qualified staff in delivering age‑appropriate activities and routines.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
- Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding and toileting.
- Observe and record children’s progress and share observations with senior staff.
- Engage with parents and guardians in a friendly, professional manner.
Required profile
- Minimum of three months experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.
- Warm, bubbly personality with a caring and patient attitude.
- Strong commitment to child safety and well‑being.
- Flexibility to work the full shift from 8 am to 6 pm.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of early years care practices.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £14.00 – £14.29.
- Full‑time, onsite position in Richmond, South East England.
- Opportunity to gain further experience in early childhood settings.
- DBS check cost covered (£67).
