Nursery Senior Deputy Manager

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Oversee daily planning, record‑keeping and compliance with safeguarding procedures.
• Develop strong partnerships with parents, carers and local authorities.
• Assist with nursery accounts, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Prepare and lead staff and parent meetings.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in childcare policy and best practice.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in childcare or education.
• Proven experience managing a room or team within a nursery setting.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Good knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
