Nursery Teacher – Full-time (Sept 2026)

About the role
We are looking for a passionate Nursery Teacher to join a forward‑thinking primary school in Uxbridge from September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality early years provision, fostering curiosity and independence in children aged 3‑5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Create a nurturing, play‑rich classroom environment that encourages exploration.
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress using high‑quality assessment tools.
- Collaborate with early years practitioners, support staff and parents to support each child’s development.
- Maintain safeguarding standards and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Reflective practitioner with excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to an inclusive, positive learning environment.
Required skills
- Understanding of EYFS statutory framework.
- Ability to conduct observations and assessments.
- Effective classroom management techniques.
