O365 / MDM Senior Engineer

About the role

This contract position supports a consultancy’s End User Services department, delivering O365 and Mobile Device Management solutions for high‑profile clients across the UK. The role is based onsite in Manchester and runs for an initial six‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor performance, tune systems, diagnose faults and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Schedule project tasks, coordinate with Project Managers and ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines.
• Automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Troubleshoot and support O365 and MDM environments to meet BAU SLA commitments.
• Produce high‑level design documentation and configuration records.
• Lead and contribute to new IT infrastructure projects.
• Share subject‑matter expertise across client engagements.

Required profile

• Eligible for, or holder of, Security Check (SC) clearance.
• UK national.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 (O365) administration.
• Intune and Azure services.
• SharePoint and Microsoft Teams (Skype Federation optional).
• Desktop support for end‑user applications.
• Phone handset management and configuration.
• Enterprise smart‑device platforms such as Blackberry UEM and Android MDM.
