Occupational Health Physiotherapist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join a leading Occupational Health provider in Barrow‑in‑Furness. Working on‑site, you will support employee health and wellbeing by assessing, diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating musculoskeletal conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatment of MSK conditions.
• Design and deliver evidence‑based rehabilitation programmes for work‑related and non‑work‑related injuries.
• Provide fitness‑for‑work advice and recommend workplace adjustments.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Carry out Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments (training provided).
• Support workplace health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Collect clinical data for service reporting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team.

Required profile

• Qualified physiotherapist (BSc or MSc) with HCPC registration.
• Experience in MSK physiotherapy or a strong desire to specialise in this area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments.
• IT skills for clinical documentation.
