Online English Second Language Teacher (1:1)

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is looking for experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers to deliver personalized 1‑on‑1 online lessons to K‑12 students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will work as an independent contractor, setting your own schedule while committing to a minimum of 20 teaching hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 50‑minute one‑on‑one ESL instruction aligned with the Cosmo curriculum.
• Prepare age‑appropriate lesson materials and adapt them to each student’s ability.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo app and attend classes on time.
• Submit class feedback after each session and communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with ESL learners and familiarity with K‑12 standards.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and a quiet private workspace.
• Availability between 8‑14 GMT (Mon‑Fri) or 5‑14 GMT (weekends) and a commitment of at least 6 months.
• Currently residing in the United Kingdom.
