Online ESL Tutor (K-12) – Remote Specialist

About the Role

Join a dynamic educational platform connecting high-achieving K-12 students in the US, Canada, and Asia with elite tutors. As an Online ESL Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the language proficiency of students in Singapore and Hong Kong through engaging, personalized 1-on-1 sessions.

Main Missions

• Deliver high-quality, personalized 1-on-1 English as a Second Language (ESL) lessons following the Cosmo curriculum.
• Prepare age-appropriate and level-specific teaching materials to ensure an engaging learning environment.
• Manage your availability via the Cosmo app and maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
• Provide detailed post-lesson feedback and maintain professional communication with students, parents, and the Cosmo staff.
• Ensure punctual attendance in a professional, quiet, and distraction-free remote setting.

Candidate Profile

• Hold a Bachelor's degree (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of K-12 teaching experience in English Language Arts (ELA).
• Proven track record of teaching ESL learners and familiarity with K-12 standards/curricula.
• Currently residing in the United Kingdom.
• Demonstrated commitment to a long-term engagement (minimum 6 months).
• Availability: Weekdays (08:00 - 14:00 GMT) or Weekends (05:00 - 14:00 GMT), with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Teaching qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong pedagogical skills with a warm, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Technical proficiency: High-speed reliable internet and a Windows/Mac PC (CPU ≥ 6000).
• Exceptional communication and professional reliability.
