Operational Governance Senior Analyst

About the role

The Operational Governance Senior Analyst will help design, implement and continuously improve Poloworks' Operational Resilience framework, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory expectations (FCA/PRA) and Lloyd's market requirements. The role also supports the outsourcing and third‑party risk management framework for critical third parties.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Operational Resilience framework in line with UK regulatory requirements and Lloyd's Principles.
• Identify and maintain mapping of Important Business Services and key dependencies, including third parties.
• Track vulnerabilities, remedial actions and conduct scenario testing across critical business functions.
• Maintain documentation and evidence to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to regulatory responses and audit activities (FCA/PRA/Lloyd's).
• Maintain the Operational Resilience framework, policies, logs and annual self‑assessment.
• Prepare papers and packs for the Operational Resilience Steering Group.
• Assist with syndicate onboarding, reviewing target operating models and third‑party arrangements.
• Manage the outsourcing and third‑party risk framework, monitoring performance, SLA, financial and operational resilience of providers.

Required profile

• Experience in operational risk, business continuity, operational resilience or third‑party risk management within insurance or financial services.
• Understanding of UK regulatory requirements (FCA/PRA Operational Resilience, SS1/21) and outsourcing/third‑party risk requirements (SS2/21) is beneficial.
• Proven experience supporting framework implementation and governance processes.
• Strong process‑mapping and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
