Operational Scheduler – FMCG Production Planning

About the role

We are looking for an Operational Scheduler to join a leading FMCG company on a fixed‑term basis. The role is based in Banbury and focuses on developing and maintaining production schedules that ensure timely delivery of goods in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet demand.
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and production teams to optimise workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels and guarantee raw material availability.
• Analyse production data, adjust schedules for demand fluctuations, and resolve conflicts.
• Communicate schedule changes to all relevant stakeholders.
• Generate reports on production performance and scheduling efficiency.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives within the supply‑chain department.

Required profile

• Previous experience in supply‑chain or production scheduling within the FMCG industry.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive approach to managing challenges.
