Operations Coordinator – Renewable Energy

About the role

We’re currently working with a growing renewable energy business that is looking to hire an Operations Coordinator into their team, based in Hailsham. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to get into a fast‑paced environment with real progression. The role sits at the centre of the operation, coordinating projects from point of sale through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating installation projects end to end
• Scheduling engineers, subcontractors and surveys
• Acting as main point of contact for customers
• Managing project timelines and resolving delays
• Raising purchase orders and organising materials
• Keeping systems and documentation up to date
• Supporting invoicing and tracking project costs
• Ensuring all compliance and certification is completed

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator
• Able to juggle multiple priorities
• Proactive with a problem‑solving mindset
• Comfortable using systems / Excel
• Positive, team‑focused attitude
• Experience in construction, engineering or renewables (or similar)
• Exposure to coordination / operations roles
