Operations & Inventory Focal Point

About the role

EnerMech, a specialist service company delivering integrated solutions for complex energy projects, is looking for an Operations & Inventory Focal Point based on site in Aberdeen. The role acts as the central coordinator for inventory control and logistics, bridging warehouse operations, procurement and supply chain, and serving as the main point of contact for related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records in the NAV systems
• Carry out regular stock counts, cycle counts and reconcile variances
• Monitor stock levels and trigger replenishment in line with demand forecasts
• Track material shelf life, batch/lot control and product expiry
• Act as focal point for issuing JCA's to the operations team during busy periods, and for shipping issues and upcoming work scopes
• Support colleagues and take on work scopes when required
• Ensure compliance with shipping, handling and documentation requirements
• Prepare periodic reports on stock status, slow-moving items and logistics KPIs
• Analyse trends to identify cost savings and process improvements

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management, logistics coordination or warehouse operations
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting
• Understanding of transport management
