About the role

We are seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join a stylish independent practice in Edgware. The role involves delivering a high‑quality patient experience in a friendly, clinically focused environment.

Key responsibilities

Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
Carry out pre‑screening eye health checks.
Support smooth handover to the Optometrist.
Dispense spectacles and advise on frame and lens options.
Adjust, fit and repair eyewear.
Assist with contact lens teaching and after‑care.
Perform a variety of administrative duties.

Required profile

Previous experience working within an optical practice.
Passion for delivering excellent customer care.
Desire to develop a career in a supportive team.
