About the role
We are seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join a stylish independent practice in Edgware. The role involves delivering a high‑quality patient experience in a friendly, clinically focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Carry out pre‑screening eye health checks.
- Support smooth handover to the Optometrist.
- Dispense spectacles and advise on frame and lens options.
- Adjust, fit and repair eyewear.
- Assist with contact lens teaching and after‑care.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties.
Required profile
- Previous experience working within an optical practice.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer care.
- Desire to develop a career in a supportive team.
Required skills
- Eye health screening.
