About the role
Join a friendly optical store in Reading where every day brings new customer interactions and hands‑on work with eyewear. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming experience while supporting the optometrist and the sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers and deliver excellent customer service.
- Perform pre‑screening eye health checks.
- Hand over customers smoothly to the optometrist.
- Dispense glasses and assist with fitting.
- Fit, adjust and repair spectacles.
- Teach customers how to use contact lenses.
- Carry out routine administration duties.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in an optical or eye‑care environment.
