Optical Colleague – Part‑time Retail Optics Role

About the role
Join Asda's optical team in Watford on a part‑time basis, supporting customers with eye care services and product advice. You will work alongside in‑store opticians to ensure a smooth, friendly experience for every visitor.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare patients for eye examinations and explain each stage of the test.
- Conduct pre‑screening examinations and book follow‑up appointments.
- Dispense spectacles and contact lenses, handling repairs and adjustments.
- Manage stock receipt from suppliers and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Provide warm, knowledgeable customer service while discussing ocular health.
Required profile
- Must be over 18 and pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
- Friendly, highly organised and able to work well within a team.
- Good computer skills and strong attention to detail.
