About the role
We are seeking a qualified Optometrist to join our thriving Specsavers store in Cirencester on a part‑time basis (2‑3 days per week, including a Saturday). The role combines patient‑focused eye care with the use of the latest clinical technology.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide accurate prescriptions.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment, including OCT, to support clinical decisions.
- Deliver high‑quality patient advice and recommend appropriate optical solutions.
- Supervise and mentor pre‑registration optometrists as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GOC standards.
Required profile
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- Newly qualified or experienced optometrist willing to work part‑time.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and upholding store ethos.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support junior staff.
Required skills
- Proficiency with OCT and other modern optometric equipment.

- Salary up to £65,000 per year (pro rata) based on experience and accreditations.
