About the role
Specsavers in Stanway is seeking a GOC‑registered Optometrist to join a growing team. You will deliver a high‑quality patient experience, support the practice’s daily operations and contribute to the local community’s eye‑care needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye examinations and recommend appropriate optical products.
- Maintain the highest clinical standards and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
- Build lasting relationships with patients, colleagues and local healthcare professionals.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest eye‑care technologies, including OCT.
- Participate in practice mentorship and professional development programmes.
Required profile
- Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, full‑time or part‑time.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment.
- Ability to perform independent prescribing where qualified.
