Outsourcing Manager – Top 20 Accountancy Practice

About the role

Join a rapidly growing Outsourcing team within a top‑20 accountancy practice in central London. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advisory support and ensuring high‑quality financial reporting using cloud‑based software.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of clients across sectors such as property, technology, financial services, media, renewable energy, professional practices and retail.
• Review production of monthly/quarterly management accounts, consolidated accounts, statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, budgets and financial projections for complex clients.
• Provide advisory services, including migration of clients to cloud‑based accounting platforms.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects and assignments, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Train and supervise junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their development.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a reputable medium or large practice.
• Strong background in management accounts and outsourcing services.
• Experience reviewing work, managing client relationships and training junior staff.
• Ability to work flexibly, with at least two days per week remote.
• Experience with consolidated accounts is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a wide range of cloud‑based accounting software packages.
