Packing Operator – Swindon

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Packing Operator to join our busy production and packing team in Swindon. You will work in a fast‑paced, regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring that filled vial products are packed to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manual packing of filled vial products.
• Adhere to gowning and cleaning procedures within the packing area.
• Assist with material handling and transfer of materials into production areas.
• Monitor stock levels and verify that all materials are within expiry dates.
• Perform cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Support packaging, labelling, line clearance, and in‑process weight checks.
• Identify and report any quality or process non‑conformances.
• Complete production documentation accurately, meeting data‑integrity requirements.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• GCSE‑level Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food production, or other regulated environment is desirable.
• Basic understanding of GMP, GDP, and data‑integrity principles.
