Paint Sprayer – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join its Operations team at the Hethel facility. You will be responsible for delivering the high‑quality paint finishes that define Lotus sports cars, working within a fast‑paced production environment while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect vehicle body panels before paint application.
• Apply primer, base coat and clear coat finishes to meet documented quality standards.
• Operate painting equipment safely and efficiently on the production line.
• Achieve daily production and quality targets set by the Area Supervisor.
• Follow all documented processes, procedures and quality guidelines.
• Complete tasks within allocated cycle times and maintain an organised work area.
• Support flexible shift patterns, including day and twilight shifts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer in automotive or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality finishes.
• Ability to meet production targets and work to deadlines.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work well within a team.
• Good understanding of health, safety and quality procedures.
• Flexibility to support operational requirements, including shift work.
