Painter & Decorator – Interior & Exterior Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our reputable team specialising in interior and exterior projects, including damp and mould remediation. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality finishes while maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and paint a variety of interior and exterior surfaces to the highest standards.
• Carry out damp and mould repairs, including mould washing.
• Execute detailed decorative finishes and surface preparation such as sanding and patching.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
• Maintain a clean and safe site, collaborating closely with the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator, either qualified or with substantial on‑the‑job experience.
• Attention to detail, reliability and punctuality.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Interior and exterior painting techniques.
• Surface preparation, including sanding and patching.
• Mould removal and damp‑proofing methods.
• Application of decorative finishes.
• Use of painting tools, equipment and safety procedures.
