Painter & Decorator – Permanent Role in Bracknell

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a housing maintenance team on a permanent basis in Bracknell. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality decoration and tiling work while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout each project.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out decoration and tiling works to residential properties efficiently and to specification.
• Wash down and treat mould and damp in line with manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Clean external surfaces including windows, doors, soffits and fascias.
• Perform minor repairs to walls, timber‑framed elements, guttering and other external features to enable tiling and decoration.
• Order materials from designated suppliers, manage costs and keep customers informed of progress.

Required profile

• Minimum City & Guilds qualification in Tiling and/or Painting & Decorating (advanced craft level) or NVQ Level 2 in the same fields.
• Relevant experience in a similar role within a housing organisation or in‑house contractor.
• Full driving licence.
• Competent use of a smartphone or tablet to record job progress, timesheets and material usage.
