Paralegal – In‑house Legal Team

About the role

Join the Legal and Compliance function at JLR as a Paralegal, supporting commercial teams across sales, marketing and distribution. You will work on a diverse range of legal matters that directly impact the business and help shape the future of iconic automotive brands.

Key responsibilities

• Advise, draft and negotiate contracts covering vehicle sales, fleet leasing, parts, warranties, advertising, promotions, sponsorships and consumer protection.
• Manage a busy workload while overseeing external legal counsel where required.
• Build strong communication channels with UK and international teams.
• Take ownership of matters under supervision and collaborate across Legal & Compliance and broader business functions.
• Apply independent, lateral thinking to analyse business decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Support a flexible portfolio of activities across the team’s diverse legal matters.

Required profile

• A recognised law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience in a sales and marketing environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to provide clear, practical legal advice.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence to engage at all levels.
• Proven capability to manage varied workloads and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Right to work in the UK without the need for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
